Location Sharing — Now Live
We are excited to announce that Location Sharing is now live on the linQar platform!
What Does This Mean?
When a visitor scans your linQar QR tag, they now have the option to share their GPS location directly with you. This feature is completely optional for the visitor — but incredibly powerful for the tag owner.
Why Is This Useful?
Imagine your vehicle is parked in a large parking lot or a busy street. Someone finds it — maybe it was blocking them or they noticed something wrong. Now instead of just messaging you, they can tap a single button and send their exact GPS location. You can open it directly in Google Maps and navigate straight to your vehicle.
This is especially useful for:
- Finding your vehicle in large parking areas
- Understanding exactly where your vehicle was left or towed
- Getting directions to your own vehicle when you forget where you parked
How to Use It?
No setup needed on your end. The next time anyone scans your linQar QR tag, they will automatically see the option to share their location. You will receive it instantly on WhatsApp along with their message.
Your Privacy Is Protected
As always, the visitor never sees your phone number. All communication including location sharing is routed securely through the linQar platform.
